Cornell Garden Plots

Thinking about how nice it would be to have a garden this summer, to plant your own vegetables and to have fresh cut flowers that you grew yourself? Don't have the space at home?

Rent a garden from the Cornell Garden Plot Committee. Plots are located on Freese Road, between Varna and Hanshaw Road. Each plot is 20 x 25 feet, and is fertilized, plowed and disked, and there is ready access to water. You can rent more than one plot. Rental for each plot is $15, but don't send money now. Do send a stamped, self-addressed envelope, along with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address to :
Cornell Garden Plots
PO Box 871
Ithaca, NY 14851

You will receive information about the gardens in the mail, along with a number based on your postmark; the earlier your postmark, the better your chance of getting the garden plot(s) you wish.

Garden plot selection and distribution will be on Saturday, April 27th from 9:30 AM till 11:30 AM, at 107 Stimson Hall on the Cornell campus, near Day Hall.

Land is donated by New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Gardens managed by the volunteers of the Cornell Garden Plot Committee.

For further information call 844-4535.
