20-Apr-2003 Groovelily.
Groovelily; requires flash, I couldn't load it Bound for Glory stretches out again, with a debut from this wild, highly eclectic contemporary trio. It's hard even to list all the influences in their high-flying music. Their fiddler will knock your socks off, and a good time will be had by all.
13-Apr-2003 Lou and Peter Berryman.
Lou and Peter Berryman, circa 1990 Lou and Peter are on the short list of favorite Bound for Glory performers of all times, though it's been years since they've been on the show. Their incredible takes on Life in America will leave you gasping, as will both their intense, one of a kind sense of humor, and their wild wordplay. Don't miss this show!
06-Apr-2003 Artisan.
Artisan This incredible a cappella trio comes to us from the north of England. Artisan is harmonies that raise the hair on the back of your neck. The songs are sometimes powerful, sometimes funny, always worth the listening. And the performance is like nothing you have ever seen or heard elsewhere. Their second Bound for Glory visit.
March 2003 30-Mar-2003 David Massengill.
David Massengill With gallons of wry good humor, David Massengill writes and sings the stories of his childhood in Bristol TN/VA... and a lot of other wonderful stuff as well. His main instrument is the mountain dulcimer, and his stock-in-trade is Magic. One of the best shows of this, or any, year. Welcome him back.
23-Mar-2003 Bound for Glory will be Albums from the Studios. Call Phil at 607-273-2121.
16-Mar-2003 Bound for Glory will be Albums from the Studios. Call Phil at 607-273-2121.
09-Mar-2003 Robin Greenstein.
Robin Greenstein She calls it Acousticness. It's been many years since the last time Robin Greenstein appeared on Bound for Glory, with her mixture of everything from traditional folk through rock. She's got a super voice, and this show will be a delight. Don't miss it!
02-Mar-2003 Mustard's Retreat.
Mustard's Retreat Mustard's Retreat, being Michael Hough and David Tamulevich, are among the all time Bound for Glory best friends. They won the very first Best of Bound for Glory award, and continue to bring us magic whenever they can. Every time they play, they invite us into their living room to sit around and sing grand songs.
February 2003 23-Feb-2003 Les Sampou.
Les Sampou This lady sure can play the blues. And she can write songs with the best of them. Last year's Bound for Glory with Les Sampou was memorable, both intense and charming at the same time. We are delighted to welcome her back just about one year later.
16-Feb-2003 Tamarack.
The band keeps changing, but the magic remains. Tamarack is one of Ontario's musical treasures, sharing songs of the Canadian experience, and writing from a rich historical perspective. Plus they sound great and they're just a whole lot of fun. They're one of our favorites. Don't miss Tamarack.
09-Feb-2003 Connie Kaldor.
Welcome back humorist and songwriter Connie Kaldor. She brings us powerful stories and songs from the vast Canadian prairies. And she's a delight on stage. Her quirky sense of humor clicks with almost everyone, and is sure to leave the audience smiling.
02-Feb-2003 Annie Gallup.
Here's another Bound for Glory debut, of a very different nature. Annie Gallup has been called the "Beat Poet of Folk". Her songs, and her poems set to music, are wild and edgy, very different from what you might expect to hear on Bound for Glory. Her talent is immense, and she views the world through unusual glasses.
January 2003 26-Jan-2003 Turkey Hollow.
Turkey Hollow comes our way from the coast of Maine, with grand stories, and a country-side-of-folk musical flavoring. They've got a lot of humor and smiles behind their music. One of the members is also in Schooner Fare. A very welcome Bound for Glory debut.
19-Jan-2003 Jeff Warner.
Jeff Warner There are several centuries of American traditional folk music behind today's Bound for Glory performances, and who better to explore them than Jeff Warner? Jeff is the son of Frank and Anne Warner, two of America's most important folk song collectors. He's got a grand repertoire, and he's a lot of fun. Welcome him back.

10-Nov-2002 Sparky and Rhonda Rucker
Sparky Rucker Sparky Rucker should be well-remembered, presenting music from the American Black tradition, one of the best. This is the first time that his wife Rhonda joins him on Bound for Glory, with, among other things, some lively harmonica playing and some fine harmonies. Highly recommended.

September 2002 29-Sep-2002 Alastair Moock
Alastair Moock Alastair Moock is not the only folksinger to want to walk in the large steps of Woody Guthrie, but he is one of the best, connecting the traditional and contemporary folk worlds with excellent song writing and respect for the past. One of the best of the up-and-coming new generation, another Bound for Glory debut.
